DAY 21

Don’t give up…

The last 3 weeks have been difficult for so many in India. Whilst I am not trying to belittle the troubles of many others in the country, I do know that many pet parents are struggling to make sense of the situation.

Some of you live alone or have a spouse that works in a hospital and you are scared of what will happen to your dog if you get infected; some of you are distraught and emotionally exhausted at having to spend all day with a dog that is severely aggressive towards you, some of you are worried about your dog’s clingy behaviour – will she develop issues later on? And some of you are the worst hit, because your dogs chewed up the TV remote and destroyed your only source of entertainment for the long wait ahead!

You have reached out for help and I have tried to reply to every one of you. Be rest assured, I am there with you and you are not alone in this. I am doing my best to reply to everyone but if I haven’t, please be patient. The number of enquiries have been overwhelming in the last few weeks. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone and if you are scared, depressed or worried for your dog, just message me and I will try my best to guide you, support you and cheer you up. All the behaviour issues that are likely to crop up during this time are very likely going to be easy to resolve later, so don’t worry too much.

Hang in there, for your dogs’ sake.
Stay safe, stay sane.
