The Advanced Professional Canine Trainer Course picks up where the Basic Foundation Course leaves off. Whilst the foundation course leaves you with the basic skills required to start working as a canine trainer, the advanced course ensures you hone the knowledge, put it to practical use and build on it to become an expert certified dog trainer.

The intensive course includes an increased level of theory, practical handling, assessments, field and research work to ensure you work on the skills required to become an extraordinary trainer and stand out from the rest of the crowd.

The Advanced Course can be done concurrently with the Foundation course or as a standalone course to enhance your current dog training skills.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students get certified as professional trainers.

Course Module

The Professional Canine Trainer Advanced Course will be conducted over a period of 10 days.

Module 1

In this stage, the student will be required to go through study material at home. Students will be provided online study material in the form of videos and articles. Students are required to study the material and will be asked to complete projects before the commencement of the next level.

These convenient online lessons allow you to have a flexible study schedule.

Students will be expected to invest around 2-3 hours daily of study in this module. Requirements - a computer and an internet connection.

Module 2

This stage will include intensive hands on learning.

The stage will include theory classes, and practical training experience with dogs.

Shirin merchant will personally demonstrate, teach, guide and supervise the students as they learn practical handling skills.

Module 3

Students will be given more online learning to complete in order to expand their understanding of course concepts and topics covered. This learning will include analysis and answering questionnaires on dog training and behaviour videos and articles sent. This module will also focus on the business and marketing aspect of the profession.

Students will need to devote around 3 hours of daily learning in this module.

The course will be conducted in Parsi Colony, Dadar, Mumbai.

Bangalore Course 20th January to
10th May 2020

The 1st module of
home study will be held from

20th Jan to 9th Feb 2020.

The 2nd Module of practical training will be conducted over a period of 6 days from 9 am to 4:30 pm daily from
10th to 15th Feb 2020.

The 3rd module of practise, enhancing knowledge and practical work will be held from
16th Feb to 10th May 2020.

Bangalore

Mumbai 2020 Course 10th February to
30th May 2020

The 1st module of
home study will be held from

10th February to 1st March 2020.

The 2nd Module of practical training will be conducted over a period of 12 days from 10 am to 2 pm daily from
2nd to 14th March 2020
(excluding Sunday).

This module will be conducted in Parsi Colony, Dadar, Mumbai

The 3rd module of practise, enhancing knowledge and practical work will be held from
15th March to 30th May 2020.
